Application

Keep out of reach of children and unauthorized persons. Avoid contact with skin, eyes, and mucous membranes. Store in a cool, dry location away from sunlight.

The following discussion and recommendations are made expressly for recirculating systems.  Laboratory application may proceed as required by study objectives.  Review Disclaimer at bottom of page prior to using this or other Captiv8 Aquaculture product(s).

This and other artificial seawater formulations produced by Captiv8 Aquaculture are available with and without bromide.  The standard formulations omit bromide.  When present, the bromide concentration will reflect documented values for the water body being replicated.

To mix 20 L total artificial seawater, add 1 L of Immedi8 RSW Formula α to 18 L circulating purified water, allow one complete circulation of mixing vessel contents, then add 1 L Immedi8 RSW Formula β.  Allow ten complete mixing cycles to occur prior to use.  (ex. Pump flow rate = 1000 lph, vessel contents 20 L: initial mixing time is 1.2 minutes; secondary mixing time is 12 minutes). Do not mix with tap water or system water.
